This roofing project began in June 2016. We completed a re-roof to Krug Furniture located in Kitchener, Ontario this project was approximately 51,000 sq. ft. For this project, we removed the existing metal perimeter cap flashing and curb flashings and removed the existing roof system down to the deck. We installed (1) layer of 2”x6” wood blocking to the top of the existing parapet wall. We loose-laid 1ply vapor retarder over the deck with all laps sealed using fire retardant adhesive. We mechanically fastened (1) layer of 1.5” Poly ISO and installed ½” fibreboard overlay adhered to the Poly ISO in a full mopping of hot asphalt and then we installed a 4ply built-up roof system.
